WHO WAS MOON BEFORE?
46 years ago, young Moon Ra was an expert at being sick — carrying trauma, failing, giving up, making excuses, self-hate, blaming others, distrusting people, bad luck, holding on, and not letting go.
Daisy was a sweet, naïve young lady attending nursing school.
Her dream was to save lives and help people as a nurse.
She met a handsome young man — fresh out of prison — with a high IQ, a short temper, and sharp street smarts.
Not knowing about his background, Daisy fell deeply in love with Nimrod, who slowly introduced her to the party life of New York nights.
Soon, she stopped going to nursing school. They got married.
Over time, Daisy became a cigarette smoker, liquor drinker, heroin addict, and a victim of domestic violence — and eventually became pregnant with little Moon Ra.
When Moon Ra was born, he came into the world lifeless — not breathing, not crying, and without a heartbeat.
From that moment, Moon Ra was programmed for failure.
From ages 0 to 17, he endured pain, deep depression, suicide attempts, chronic illness, autism, phobias, countless allergies, colon cancer, homelessness, street life, drug addiction, cigarette addiction, alcoholism, and despair.
